2024 Cantina Terlano Pinot Bianco
This is the perfect introduction to the Terlano wines, as Pinot Bianco is what this winery excels at and is considered second to none in Italy. The seamless, fresh, ripe fruit and scintillating acidity create a captivating impression both on the nose and palate. The complexity of the wine and mouth-pleasing texture leave you looking forward to the next sip. Aroma: Honey crisp apple, yellow pear, ginger, cardamon, fresh fennel, and a touch of flint. 2024 Cantina Terlano Chardonnay
An intriguing contrast of exotic and classic Chardonnay notes, with glacial mineral tones and pristine acidity, makes this a unique alpine Chardonnay. Aroma: Passion fruit, mango, green apple, stonefruit, lemon zest, crushed almonds. 2024 Cantina Terlano ‘Terlaner Cuvee’ Bianco
A classic mix of 60% Pinot Blanc, 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, as these are Terlano’s most traditional grape varieties, and this cuvee has been a winery signature blend since 1893. The wine is stunning, with the three grapes seamlessly complementing each other.
Aroma: Kiwi, nectarines, apricot, citrus pith, pear, wild alpine flowers, spiced herbal tea.
Mouth: Layered flavors, stonefruit, zesty citrus, perfect acidity, crisp, crushed stone minerality, and great length on the finish. Very Good Plus $39, Case $33
2024 Cantina Terlano Winkl Sauvignon
The 2024 Winkl Sauvignon is quite expressive with pristine alpine minerality and structure. The bright tropical and citrus fruits breathe life into the glass, complemented by freshness and acidity.
The fruit is sourced from high-altitude vineyards that produce impeccable fruit and ethereal sauvignon wines. Aroma: Passionfruit, pineapple, grapefruit, fresh lime zest, white pepper, flint, and crushed stones. Mouth: Vibrant citrus and stone fruits, medium body, precise acidity, crushed stone minerality ending with a long spicy white pepper finish. Excellent $46, Case $38
2022 Cantina Terlano ‘Nova Domus’ Terlaner Riserva Bianco
Spectacular and profound, one of Italy’s top blends, 70% Pinot Blanc, 25% Chardonnay, and 5% Sauvignon, is seamless. Its exceptional balance and character come from aging in large wooden barrels. The results are heavenly fruit notes and exquisite texture.
Aroma: Effusive notes of honeydew melon, kiwi, meyer lemon, honeyed peaches, mint leaf, and crushed almonds. 2022 Cantina Terlano Lagrein Gries Riserva
The Lagrein grape is native to Alto Adige and is to the Gries commune as Nebbiolo is to Barolo, making this one of the more sought-after red wines from the region. Very savory, it’s a potpourri of rich and decadent flavors.
Aroma: Dark cherry, black currants, espresso, dark chocolate, olive tapenade, fresh cut fennel. Mouth: Medium body, chewy tannins, blackberry fruits, balsamic flavor, spice, refreshing acidity, velvety texture, sweet spices, and earthy tones on the finish. Very Good Plus $58, Case $48
