The two St Roch wines gave generous fruit and flavor complexity that appealed to most tasters. "Well," said one as he took his first sip of the red's Grenache Syrah blend– this is a lot of wine. It was, as was the creamy, smoky white.
Also, praise for the taste and value of the classic Cline Zinfandel and Moniker Mendocino Chardonnay. The pronounced intense flavors of the Viognier and Cabernet divided tasters. Some loved them; others did not.
