The 2024 Federal Case

         This year's Federal Case is incredible at its sale price. From Georgia to Germany to California, from Bordeaux to Monterey, an eclectic dozen that had been or tasted like much more expensive wines. 

To start, cava you could mistake for champagne, a Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc, an Italian seafood wines, crisp white burgundy, and a Sancerre in all but name.

         The reds: A winning savory Pinot Noir, a full, balanced Bordeaux, the best syrah we have found at the price, classic Chianti and Dolcetto from Tuscany and Piedmont, and a hearty Georgian red

         The reds are a fine Barolo from an exciting young producer, a delicious estate single-vineyard 1er cru Burgundy Pinot Noir, a fine chianti, spicy matured Syrah, and classed growth Bordeaux.
