Bodega Piedra Fluida
Vines Rising from the Ashes
March 7, 2025

The volcanic wines of the Canary Islands have garnered attention and acclaim in recent years,. The exceptional Piedra Fluida is a thrilling example. They work with ancient ungrafted vineyards, including the highest altitude vines in Europe at 1650 meters. They farm these old vines organically, which helps to benefit vine health and reduce soil erosion and water loss, which is essential on these dry, challenging volcanic soils.
