Thank heavens, after an absence of three years, Palacios Godello is back. I have tried in in vain to find a Godello as good or better than this one one at this price. This wine is the gold standard that I measure all other Godello wines against. I’m so excited to offer this wine as a presale.
This is the wine for you, if you enjoy a well-priced well-made village level Chablis. Rafael Palacios’ steep terrracedn vineyards are in Galicia’s Valdeorras of northwestern Spain just north of the Portuguese border. He has done an amazing job with the Godello grape to produce this wine. You will want to enjoy the wine again and again.
Aroma: Notes of bright citrus, orchard fruit, lees contact comes through on the nose in a delightful mix of herbs and flint, with a hint of nutty richness.
