Its vibrancy immediately took me with lifted fruit and a refreshing finish. The crisp, stony minerality and freshness are also notable for this white wine from Balzano, Italy. I can’t recommend it enough as a go-to summertime Italian White. This Sylvaner from the Alto Adige is simply irresistible
The Kuen Hof Wine Estate dates back to the 12th century and has been with the same family for over 200 years. Since 1990, Peter and Brigitte Pliger have worked the steep, mineral-rich vineyards and consistently produced high-quality white wines. Almost immediately praised by the Italian wine industry and critics alike. Accuracy and mindfulness are key ingredients to their success as they implement organic and biodynamic farming practices to get the best results for their grapes. Careful and multiple harvests by hand ensure the best grapes are selected, brought to the winery, and masterfully transformed into world-class wines.
