The 2019 Rocca di Castagnoli Chianti Classico Riserva Poggio a Frati is a very special wine. It is from a single vineyard planted on classic galestro albarese soils at the highest elevation in Gaiole. The farming is organic. The wine is 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo. From the great 2019 vintage, it shows complexity, structure, and elegance. With time in the bottle, it will take on an exquisite and rich mellow finish
