Burgess Cellars
White
2015 Chardonnay Burnside Road Vineyard, Russian River Burgess notes "Lemon-lime, pineapple, mango, key-lime pie with yummy crust. Full flavored and impeccably, elegantly, balanced amounts of fruit, wood, and acidity. Dry, but very fruity finish." Reg $48, SPECIAL $39, mixed case $35.10, Case $33.15
Red
2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Wine Advocate "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (at a very fair price, by the way) has beautiful blackcurrant fruit, blackberry, underlying earth and spice, medium to full body, a long finish and sweet, moderate tannin. A rather classic example of Napa viticulture and still available at a shockingly realistic price. This beautiful wine is young, but reflects the greatness of 2013, and should promise to improve and evolve for another 15-20 years." Reg $59, SPECIAL $47, mixed case $42.30, Case $39.95
2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Reg $139, SPECIAL $110, mixed case $99, Case $93.50
2012 Syrah Napa "Full bodied, this estate-made, 100% varietal wine is sinewy and dense, a combination of ripe, luscious blackberry and blueberry, akin to a compote, seasoned in lavender and black licorice. Weighty, it'll pair well with wintertime meals, finishing with a suggestion of vanilla bean." Reg $32, SPECIAL $26, mixed case $23.44, Case $22.10
2013 Mountaineer Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Petit Verdot Wine Spectator "Rich, powerful and well-built, with floral blueberry and fruitcake spice aromas, and complex flavors of currant, smoky cracked pepper and black olive. Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2029. 794 cases made." Reg $139, SPECIAL $110, mixed case $99, Case $93.50
